Children & Faith Formation
Our spiritual journey is an ongoing conversation. Insightful advice, learned instruction, and gentle guidance continue this discussion at College Street Congregational Church. Combined with learning in action, the conversation that is Christian development occurs at all ages and spans far beyond Sunday mornings. From nursery school to poverty think tanks, Christian development involves the engagement of our members and the larger community of God’s children wherever they find themselves

Childcare
Sunday School is for children in grades K-5. Your children are always welcome in the sanctuary and can participate in Time for Kids. Service begins with the children sitting with families and then can go downstairs following Time for Kids. During the last hymn in the church service the children will be escorted back upstairs to join you.
Children's Program, LOGOS
Looking for a free and fun spirituality program for kids -- and maybe even yourself? Look no further!
LOGOS is a Sunday morning program for children in Kindergarten through 5th grade and parents, featuring games, spiritual exploration, light refreshments, and open conversation about real-life questions. No registration required! Just show up!
Each week centers on a theme, exploring topics in ways that engage both children and adults—like why spirituality matters, what does it mean to 'be good' or 'be bad', and even big questions like whether magic (or the Easter Bunny!) is real.
When: Sundays, 11:15 AM – 1:00 PM [after service]
Dates: April 12, 2026 – May 10, 2026

Music
Music is an essential part of our worship. Do you have some talent (or at least a passion) for a musical instrument? Do you love to sing? Join us. We celebrate music in all its forms, there’s something for everyone!

Adult Choir
Led by our Minister of Music, Eric Milnes, our services include a weekly anthem by our adult choir except for the fourth Sunday. The adult choir meets at 8:45 a.m. each Sunday to rehearse. You are welcome to come join in or relax in the sanctuary before service and listen to the choir rehearse as you prepare your spirit for worship.
Bell Choir
The College Street Ringers are led by Jodie Auer-Johnson and rehearse on Thursday nights. If you can count to four and move your arms, you can learn to play handbells; familiarity with rhythm and musical notation is very helpful, but not required to join the choir. Ringing four octaves of Malmark handbells and hand chimes, College Street Ringers bring their unique, ethereal sound to the service several times a year.

Strummers, Pluckers & Strikers
If you play an instrument of this kind, this is for you! This group accompanies the service on the fourth Sunday of the month and often rehearses after church on the first and third Sundays, and at 9 am on the fourth Sunday.
Fellowship Groups
Get to know others in the church by participating in one of our many groups. Some meet at the church, some meet in homes, and some meet all over the place. One thing they all have in common is that you are welcome to stop in and take part at any time!
